Monday 17th November is the start of anti-bullying week. This is a week where children and young people, schools, parents and carers come together with one aim: to stop bullying for all.
An organisation called the Anti-bullying Alliance have organised a competition for young people in Birmingham to raise awareness and show support for this campaign. It would be great if some children from Robin Hood took part! Please see below for details:
Imagine that Birmingham is a city where everyone is treated equally and we have stopped bullying for all. Create a piece of writing or a picture, which describes your vision of what our city would be like.
Writing (no more than 500 words)

There are two age categories
under 11
11 and over
Please send entries via schools or other children’s & youth organisations.
Make sure that each entry is marked clearly with
• the young person’s name and age.
• the name, address, tel no. of the school/group and
• name and email address of staff contact person from your school/group
A selection of entries will be displayed at the Midlands Arts Centre Birmingham, during Anti-bullying Week on Friday 21st November, when winners will be presented with their award. There will be one winner for each age category. The judges decision is final.
Closing date: 14th November.
