This week is Refugee Week, so to raise awareness Year 4 put on an exhibition. This consisted of monologues that the children had written (as if they were a refugee), based around the theme of an object that was extremely important to them. Their typed up monologues were displayed next to their special object an alongside a listening station, which allowed visitors to listen to a recorded version of the monologue. We also displayed some of their acrostic poems and our prayer tree, where children wrote a wish of hope for a refugee to hang on a branch. Have a look at some of the amazing work below.
